Welcome to Castle Heights, nestled in the famous Grassmarket, in the heart of Edinburgh's beautiful, historic Old Town. With unrivalled and unobstructed views of world-famous Edinburgh Castle and imposing Castle Rock it offers the perfect city centre base. The vibrant location, just a stone's throw from the famous Royal Mile is steeped in history, culture and stunning architecture and you'll find an array of wonderful independent restaurants, coffeeshops, bars and shops on the winding, cobbled streets right on your doorstep.
The private, exclusive use apartment, which sleeps 3, is your little oasis of calm, located on the top floor of a historic stone building and impeccably presented. As well as its world-class views you'll find cosy tartan blankets, an Honesty Bar, a Nespresso machine for your coffee fix, warmth, charm, plenty of personal touches, local flavour and the warmest of welcomes to make your Edinburgh visit unforgettable.

It all started with those magical views…The concept for Castle Heights grew over the years but this new chapter started 4 winters ago from our love and passion for all things Edinburgh and Scotland. We want to share the warmth of a Scottish welcome, the cosy glow you get with a golden whisky in your hand, sat by the fireside after long walks exploring this beautiful country; the history and mystery and stories all tied up in Edinburgh’s Old Town.
Having both run our own businesses for a number of years with backgrounds in jewellery design and joinery we both possess an eye for detail, quality and a desire for delivering exceptional customer care. Work is a passion for both of us but outside of this we love photography, cycling, running and exploring the West Coast and Islands’ hills, mountains, beaches and castles with our two girls in the VW campervan Roland and his brother converted last year.
We’ve always been massive supporters of all our amazing local businesses and are super proud to have partnered up with some of our favourite local brands to offer you beautifully made and feel good artisan products from right here in Edinburgh.
